From Thursday, the 06th January to Saturday, the 08th January 2011 we, Laura Böhme and Nadine Abe (8th grade) and Marvin Classen, Annemieke Ploenus and Mareike Wichmann (9th grade) and Miss Hoffmeier were in Münster to visit our UNESCO partner school Schillergymnasium to work on our cooperation to produce Arabic language videos with Solar Net International. On Thursday at 12:45 pm we started our little trip from the boarding school of Salzmannschule Schnepfenthal and after four hours we arrived tired and hungry at our goal in Nordrhine-Westphalia.

Firstly we went to a supermarket and bought something to eat. For dinner we made spaghetti. After eating, Laura and Nadine finished their video which they started in the first part of the media workshop of Solar Net International at the 27th and the 28th November. The others wrote a script for a new video which should be in Arabic.

On the next day we translated it and we started to film with the help of Janusz Hamerski and Martin, a student of the Schillergymnasium. The rest of day we cut the scenes and produced the subtitles. All in all it was really funny and we learned a lot about how to make a good video.

On Saturday we started working out a “making of” which you can enjoy in the next school assembly. After doing all the hard but funny work we relaxed while going shopping. At noon we took our package and got ready for returning.
