Specific aspects:

English is taught as the pupils’ first foreign language from year 5 to year 10. English teaching focuses on learning English using a communicative approach, which means i.e. learning in groups with not more than 10 pupils.

Language trips to improve knowledge and speaking abilities:

  • year 5 – language farm (1 week)
  • year 7 – South England (3 weeks)

Exams :

  • year 8 – FCE/ Cambridge ESOL
  • year 10 – CAE/ Cambridge ESOL
